New Year's Day / Bizerta, Tunisia

My son-in-law in London surprised me with a trip to Tunisia to celebrate the New Year after arriving in London for the Christmas Holidays.

I was thrilled to visit the Continent of Africa for the first time.   Did this older gentlemen even know it was New Year's Day?   If he did,  he was keeping it a secret.

This painting was accepted in the Open Art category of the Telfair Museum of Art Annual Art Fair the weekend of November 7th.
